I haven't written in a long time. There just isn't much to write about in America.
Today I wrote up a 11 and got on here and did nothing until my mom got home and then she came with my to town to get some gas. Then we went to the Library and got somebooks. I am so proud of her! She is finall library-ing it up! Then we came home and went to wabash to wally world and wendys. I found jeans for 3 bucks and I looked at laptops :) I am excited to get one of those!
Tomorrow I am going out with Nathan <3 I am excited because we didnt get to hang out today lol not that we havent hung out every other day the past week or so! I am super excited for Friday! First Lyn and I are going to the beach and then we are going to give blood at the Circus Building and then we are going to hang out. Hopefully we can get ahold of the Noah Face. Nathan has a LAN party with all of his friends which is good because he doesnt get to hang out with them all a whole lot and boy does he like his lan partys :) I love my boyfriend <3 Mom totally amazed me today!! I was looking at a picture that he posted on his blog and she came in and looked at it and she was like PRINT IT OUT! IT WILL BE LIKE YOU TWO WENT TO PROM TOGETHER! ILL FINALLY GET TO REPLACE THE ONE OF YOU AND JONNY FROM THE WEDDING. I was like oh my god :O in shock.
I was on the internet earlier and I was talking to Isabell and my dad walked by the room and I told him I was ready to back to go Sweden and he looked at me like i was retarded and said Im sorry. My mom said if I went back to Sweden Id be paying for it. lol Of course I am not going back so soon and whenI do Lyn is totally coming with me but I really want to go back. I dont think you people understand how much I miss Sofia. I dont even understand how much I miss Sofia. I finally understand how Amanda felt only she probably felt 10 times worse with Cindyla and Juju and Lizard all leaving inthe same year... Its like it just hit me or something. When we got back I was so ready to be back here because I missed everything a whole lot and then I went to camp and then I came home and I got back into everything and then it was like a big train ran into my head and I finally realized that I am not going to see her in a long long time. I actually have gas in my car most of the time... sounds like a good thing right? Not really because that means im not driving across the world to pick her up. I cant just call her up or text her when something funny happens or if I need someone to talk to its like log into facebook and write a messege and then get one back like 4 days later. It sucks so bad :( and I am almost positive I am starting to annoy people with my sofia this sofia that stuff.
ughhh how painful.

The night before last we had a camp out at Lynnies. It was probably one of the most depressing times in my return home yet. Leigh was suppose to camp out with us but didn't and Lyn got tons of Swedish Fish and Mountain Dew it was like a memorial service or something. Everything Sofia loved was there and *sighh* she wasn't :(
Then last night we went house sitting together. I have never sitted a house before but it wasnt so bad! They have ahuge inground pool and a big screen Tv. Comfortable couches and ... an inground pool. okay so I liked the pool alot :) We ate mcdonalds and ice cream and movie popcorn and I thought i was going to die from all the food. We watched Push, American Teens, and Honey and then we crashed!
I found out that I am WAY behind on the whole college thing. I was looking through my papers and all of them are due on August 1. So I had schedule a physical and all my shots and stuff for tomorrow and wednesday and then I have to take everything up there on Thursday guhhhhhhhhhh I think I could go crazy!
Tonight Nathan and I were going to go to the Mississinewa and sit by the water and eat yummy berries and watch the office on his laptop because he says that I need to watch them all because they are hularious and I am missing out. Doesn't that sound like an amazing date :) aside from the fact that his laptop only lasts 2 hours hahaa but I decided that my mommy wants to hang out with me or something and I have tons of things to do like fill all this financial aid crap and make a bunch of copies and clean my room and car and blah blah. :( I wish I could have gone out with him tonight :(
At 11 - if the rents let me- I am going back to The Prosecutors house to help lyn house sit. lol because its one of those things that you need help with :)
Anywho I should probably be going. I have tons more stuff to do.
Loveth thee

Well, it has been like 2 weeks since I have written on here and let me tell you... what an exciting 2 weeks!
I will start off by saying the plane ride home was great! My little tv screen worked and I watched Inkheart and a few other movies and I listened to music that I could have only listened to in aforeign country the entire way home! The food was super gross, but my travel buddy was pretty cool :) lol No Sofia, it wasn't a hot guy who I was to exhausted to flirt with....gosh! :) When I got off the plane I hugged my parents and we went to Wendys.lol They don't have that in Sweden :) Then I went home to a clean bedroom and jumped on my perfectly made bed and crashed! :) On Saturday Lyn,Nathan,Jakyl, and LuLu came over and I finally got to meet Emma :) Thatwas pretty awesome She is just as adorable in person as she is in pictures :) We swam and fireworked and hung out and stuff. Then on Monday I left for la Church-o Camp-o. It was pretty fun stuff and I made a buncha new friends.. and now I am home again and I will be for quite awhile.
I am really missing Sweden though. Yesterday Lyn came over and she gave me a Mountain Dew and I took a sip and thought of Sosso :( I wore one of the shirts I wore in sweden a few days ago and found a Moses or Malte hair :( and I was going though my cell phone and found Sofia's cell phone number, Sofias host moms cell phone, sofias house... all these sofia numbers that I knew I couldnt call :( It sucks. It feels like I have been seperated from my twin sister indefinately. Sighhh Its painful.

Day 29

The last day is finally here and is almost over. I woke up thinking '' WOAH a month already!!'' and I am going to bed thinking ''woah where did the time go''. I just cannot figure out where the entire month went! It's insane!
This morning Sofia and I got up and went into the city. I spent all my money and was only a little satisfied with what I got for everyone. It was so tough trying to find stuff because absolutely nothing said SWEDEN on it. I wanted to get you guys something that was kind of like you know... a souvenier.... Before we hopped on the bus we got some lunch. Sofia got her favorite: pasta och kryddig köttfärssås from the pasta huset. I know... sounds foreign. I on the other hand got another one of those delicious hotdogs! They are so good lol. When we got back home we chilled out for about 2 hours and then went back to the city and met Caroline and Amanda. The Taris couldn't meet us tonight because they had something else to do and it really made me sad! I love those Isabell ,Amanda, and Matilda! When we found Amanda and Caroline we went and bought our movie tickeys. Then we walked around a while because Amanda wanted Japanese food and Sofia and I raided the music store. lol I walked away with 2 guitar magazines that said Jackson :) We went back to the movies and settled into our 3rd row purple chair and watched Transformers 2! It was AWESOME! I think there was alot more action in the second movie than there was in the first. I really loved it though! Those are some great movies. TearTear my last swedish movie :(
I am really going to miss Sofia, Helena, Brigitta, and Ove. They have been my home for the last 4 weeks. Ifeel like I am like being parted with a twin or something. Even though Sofia and I fought ALL the TIME!... sigh...
Anyways enough about missing Sweden... I miss America!!!!

Day 27 and 28

Hey! We left the cabin and came back to Hyltebruk yesterday only to come home and pack up again. When we got home yesterday I finished reading My Sister's Keeper... Its a heartbreaker... and then I started packing all my bags. Today we are going back to the cabin and we are leaving Wednesday to go to the airport straight from the cabin, So I have to make sure I get everything out of here and I am totally not ready. lol Today we are going swimming and stuff and tomorrow we are shopping and hanging out with everyone one last time :( It is really sad I have made such great friends here.
Mom, will you please call the library and reserve Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen? Thank you :) I will call you guys before we leave for the cabin.
Welp, gotta go finish packing up now! Love you!
P.S. I forgot lol Sofia and I finished Season 3 of Roswell... There are no more episodes any more ;( No more super sweet alien powered people to watch!

Day 26

Hey! Happy fourth of July! I am pretty sad that no one shares the excitement with me here! This morning we ran to the city and got my money from the Western Union. I had to call mom because I accidently wrote the number down wrong...woops! After I finally achieved getting my moula, we went to Max's and got some lunch! Last time I was there I got this cheese burger only it had like mayonaisse and no mustard and ketchup and all this junk so this time I went for the chicken nuggets! After we ordered the food we came back here and ate and then Sof and I went down to the ocean and it was packed! We walked a little down the beach and for these rocks and we started stepping on these stones out over the water and finally we got to this super big rock. Like so big that we both could put our towel down and lay there and tan and still have space to have a party. That big of a rock! It was so relaxing! We were like inches from the water and there was no one around us because everyone else was on the beach and we were over the water... It was the coolest place ever and if I lived here I would go out there every single day and read a book.
This morning, Sofia and I decided that it was in our best interests not to go to the Amusement park. Since I don't have a lot of money and Helena isn't going to go it would just be better if we didnt and hey.. I am planning on going to Indiana Beach again this year any way -hahaha-
Not that Indiana is any comparison to Liseberg or anything.
Tonight Sofia and I are going to finish watching Roswell since Ove will probably go to bed around 8 and Helena will be at work. We have 4 episodes left I believe and I cannot wait to see Liz beat the crap out of Tess! Wooooo hoo!
Wow so I have been calculating and I only have 3 full days left here in paradise and I am starting to get kind of nervous. On the way to Sweden, I sent my bags through from Fort Wayne and didnt have to get them until I got Gothenburg. On the way home I have to send them through at Gothenburg and then pick them up in Detroit and then check them through again to go to Fort Wayne and I am so afraid that I am going to like not be able to get all my bags and then go through check in again and then get to my terminal in the Detroit Airport you know...It is a pretty big place. Hopefully that won't happen though :)
Welp I think I will be going now. I think the chicken is done and its time to eat! Gosh I am so sad :( I want to see some fireworks. DAD! You better have bought extras for next saturday! :) Have fun family and friends! Love you all!! Light a sparkler for me :D and maybe a few bottle rockets! aghhhhhh

Day 24,25

Hey! Sorry I didn't get online at all yesterday. I got up around 11 and then Sofia and I hung out and watched Roswell until around 330 and then we packed up and jumped on the bus. We rode for like over an hour from Hylte to Halmstad and it was the most terrible-est hour of my life. lol I hated it. It was hot and I didn't feel well and it was just ugh!When we got here we decided to start by playing some cards. So we sat down and soon found out that Moses and Malte ate like 7 diamonds so we made cards with paper and played until Brigitta and Helena came home! They brought home japanese lol and im loving the rice and taryaki chicken stuff! After we ate Amanda came over and we rode bikes down to the super market to buy some new cards and snacks and then we came back here and played cards and popped in Moulin Rouge. Then we walked the dogs and walked with Amanda down to the bus stop.
This morning we went to the city and I was going to get my money but they are making me fill out all this paperwork stuff and so i am just going to get it tonight. We went to H &M and mom! you should be proud I didn't even buy anything. Except for postcards but that was the money place and gosh!lol I bought the store out of stamps :) How funny is that! I had to go somewhere else to buy the rest.
Tonight we are meeting Isabell, Amanda, Amanda, and Caroline at the pizza place and I don't know what we are doing tomorrow. I am going to be very tired come wednesday when I am traveling home because the plan is we are amusement parking on Tuesday.
PS I am bringing home Authentic Turkish Delights! and lemme tell you! They are delicious!!!!

Days 22 and 23

Sorry I missed out on writing yesterday! We left the cabin at around 6 ish and went to Isabells house and camped out! It was so fun! When we got there we sat on the trampoline and the tire swings and just hung out because they werent home but then they got home and we walked down to the supermarket and Isabells mom made some tacos! These are the first normal tacos I have had since I got here and do you know what i did. I put cucumbers and corn on my taco and no cheese. Can you believe this. I mean when i first got here one of the first meals I had was this chicken burrito thing but i mean... i love tacos with corn and cucumbers! it sounds discusting to me. lol After dinner Isabells friends came over and we went to the pool. I learned how to jump a fence so that was fun :) Anyways Sofia and I didnt want to swim so we went and attempted to watch the sun set but then we got side tracked and ended up rolling down the hill and we did it again and again. When amanda,amanda,matilda,caroline,jasper and his girlfriend, and tim all came out they...well some of them.. rolled down the hill too. So if you can imagine a super steep hill with like 5 or 6 people rolling down at the same time... thats what it looked like! At one point I accidently kicked tim in the nose and he wouldnt let me forget it. When we got back to the Taris domain, amanda and isabell went about putting the tent up in the dark! We had ice cream with bananas and strawberries and then we ventured inside and we put in Scary Movie 2 and then watched Club Dread. I don't recommend either of them. They are super dumb and really boring. But we had fun watching them all together and we had candies and chips and after the movies it was light outside again so we went for a short walk and decided it was time to sleep. So at around 430 we got in the tent and finally at around 6 we all got to sleep. Then at 10ish we got up and ate some bfast and just hung out! It was very fun minus the part about Swedish people not have bug spray. I should invent it over here... lol I would make a fortune. There are more bugs here than there are in the middle of the night by a big light in the middle of the forest. :) Anyways we are back in Hyltebruk and Helena is coming home tonight. We are going to watch Armageddon because Sofia says it is not possible for me to not see it lol and then hopefully we can watch some Roswell. I feels Roswell deprived even though right now I feel as if I hate Max and Michael and Maria broke up and its like this whole fiction story in my head is falling apart :(
I think I am catching a cold probably from be out side all night last night. I am sneezing alot and my voice is starting to sound wierd... ughh! One more week I dont know how I feel!Love you all!!!

Day 21

9 days left :( So! I achieved my goal! By leaving my blackout blind up today the sun was shining through my window by 4:00 and by 10 I was so tired of the light I was forced to climb out of bed! Aren't I clever! Wish I would have figured that out 2 weeks ago I would have been able to get a ton more things done in a day if I woke up in the morning instead of the afternoon! When I got up I decided to shower before the Johansson house woke up and then I crashed sofia's room and we called my mother. Dear sweet mother didnt know she was getting a phone call at 6 in the morning :) oh yes happy birthday to youuuu happy birthday tooo youuuu! That is what the mother heard at 6 am :) I am sure it truly brightened her day! After calling mom I packed my bag and once more sit here in the cabin writing to you while the rest of sweden is asleep! When sofia and I got here we ran outside and sat at the picnic table and read our books and wrote and felt the sun on our heads just relaxing until Sofia let out a scream because a little baby spider landed on her head.
When Brigitta got home we grilled and played cards and after wards sofia and I rode bikes to the gas station and took moses and malte for a walk and when we got back we popped in Roswell. I think we watched 5 episodes... only 10 more until the end and I am sure we can finish that in 9 days! Anyways we have made plans for tomorrow! We are going to take the bus to Isabells house and have a slumber party movie night swimming campout type thing! It is going to be a lot of fun! Then on wednesday Brigitta is going to come pick us up and we are going to head back home to hyltebruk and Helena will be coming home from Turkey!
I really miss home dudes! I honestly dont know how sofia survived inthe states for 10 months without her family and friends and sweden and home. I dont understand it at all! If I ever become a traveler of the world I will have to come home every like 2 weeks or something! :) It would be really tough to stay away from home.
Anyways I will be going to bed now! I want to get up before noon strikes tomorrow too! Love you all!

Day 20

Oh wow... ten days left. Today was not very adventurous... I woke up at 2. Yeah. 2. If you are a regular reader you know that I originally planned to wake up at around 10. It is time to break out the alarm clock. I uploaded some pics today, wanted to call the home but the phone was charging, ate some maceroni and swedish meat balls, saw a movie, and here I am now. Tomorrow we are heading back up to the cabin until Wednesday. Then we are coming back here and Helena is coming home. I have no idea what is on the agenda. All I know is that sometime we are watching Moulin Rouge and Titanic with Amanda, going to Liseberg once Helena comes home, and going dancing again this next weekend.
I am reading My sister's Keeper and it is the saddest book I think I have ever picked up. It is really good and I can't wait to see the movie. I believe it is in America right now and if you read this and have the chance to go...go! lol Run to the movie theater with a pack of tissues! No Joke!
Right now I am really missing America, but I know in 10 days I will be saying the same about Sweden.
I talked to Aunt Patti today, she was on msn messenger. Sometime she will be getting a facebook and thats good! We talked about traveling and she is right. Once you go someplace you just want to keep going more places! Sometime I want to go visit her and Johnny in Alaska. That would be so awesome. She is coming home in September for a class reunion and that makes me happy. I haven't seen her in a long time.
Well, I better get going. It's about 12:30 am and I think I have wasted enough of my day on here. I will write more tomorrow! Love you all!

Day 19

I just got off the phone with my mom and I finally got to talk to my sister! It's about time! Today was a pretty good day. I woke up and we traveled back here to Hyltebruk! Last night was really fun! We ate at a pizza place that was outside! It is soo busy at those outdoor restaurant They are stuffed full of people. It amazes me that the food tastes so good! Then we went and got some icecream and went to this place called Moon. Thats where we danced and danced all night! It was soo fun!
I am planning on going to bed early tonight- around 1 probably. Iwant to make a new record of getting up at around 10 tomorrow! Hopefully I succeed! I have no idea what we are doing tomorrow, probably just hanging out around here. Watching some roswell... Maybe Ill have sofia take me to her moms shop so I can see all the porcelain stuff! Her mom is a really great painter. Its neat!
I can't believe I have missed the 4H fair. I hope dad got a bag full of free stuff that way I don't have to buy pencils for college. HaHa. I am leaving in less than two weeks and I can't believe it!
For the 4th of July, I am going to wear an american shirt and carry around Sofia's miniature American Flag. Just because I am in a foreign country doesn't mean I can't celebrate our independence...right! :)
I know on Monday we are going back up to the cabin and Helena gets back here from Turkey on Wednesday. Sometime next week Amanda has to come over and we are going to watch Moulin Rouge because I still haven't seen it!
Sofia found this old religion book in Helenas closet and brought it down. Of course it was in swedish so i couldnt read it, but Sosso read some of it to me and I have decided that when i get back to America I am going to find a religion book and read it! I feel like I am only looking at things from my point of view and that is dumb. I want to learn what everyone else believe in too! Thats the only way you can truly understand the people around you right! Hmm makes since in my brain!

Day 17 and 18

Sorry it might seem like I havent written in a long time but the post before this was done but it didnt publish...it just saved. Woops!
I shall start writing every day! I feel bad when I dont lol. Yesterday was very relaxing lol. Amanda came over and the three of us headed down to the beach and tanned and swam. lol everytime we laid down on our towels the wind would start blowing and sand would go all over us! You should have seen us when we got out of the water and went to dry off.. We looked like a couple of sand monsters! `

As quoted by sofia! And I must admit shes right! Anyways then we came back here and popped in Shakespeare in Love! How romantic! and The parents made some grilled food stuff and it was delicious! and then we watched some roswell... season 3... and yep!

Today Sofia and I ran to H&M to get a shirt and bangles! BTW mom I have to go to the Stadium Store to get my money and I have to have my passport with me so I am not going to get to do that until I get back to hyltebruk and I will probably just go to the bank instead of the Forex or the stadium. No need to worry! We are going back tomorrow! I must get going! Sofia and I are meeting Isabell, Amanda, and Isabells sister Amanda and were going out to eat and dancing! Day 14,15,16

Hey there family and friends!Sorry I have missed so many days of writing! I better catch up! Ill start with Sofias birthday party! That was super fun :) Amanda, Isabell, sofia, and I ended up staying at home and Birgitta and Helena made us dinner! We had chicken and salad and she made this pasta salad stuff. lol I had chicken salad. After dinner they brought the cake out!!! lol I helped make that cake lol! It was really neat lol its like this shortcake stuff and you take the bottom layer off and then spread this strawberry whipped creamy yummy ness and then put the next layer on and then add white chocolate mousse and then the next layer and put the strawberry frostingy stuff on and pile a huge thing of strawberries on top! delicious i tell you! And i helped create that!!!hahhah and then we adventureized to the ocean and i took TONS AND TONS of pictures!! lol but i still cnt upload them because even though today i remember the camera cord, I accidently grabbed the wrong on so when I got back here to upload them It wouldnt fit. Guess itll have to wait for Saturday when I get back home. Yesterday we went back to Hyltebruk and were planning on going to Liseberg today, but at the last minute Helena booked tickets for Turkey-land to visit her boyfriend! I think shes bringing me back some Turkish Delights!! wooot! there really good! lol I had them like the first few days i was here. good stuff lol! Anyways shell be back in about a week and then we will be going to liseberg! Sometime anyways- before i come home.

You know its pretty crazy that I am actually even here! Its so wierd! lol I wake up in the morning and its like wow im in a foreign country... i wonder what time it is. And then i look at the clock and calculate what time it actually is. and then i get confused and wish i could fall back asleep but then I get up and attack the world with my american presence. hahah! just kidding! But everything I see here is like going in this eternal bank in my brain that I will most likely never forget! Its quite amazing :)

Anyways! Today we came back up here to the cabin and sofia and I met amanda at the movies and we say The Proposal! Great movie lol very funny! lol I loved it! The sof and I took the bus back here and finished Season 2 of roswell! lol We are starting the third one tomarrow night! I LOV EIT! It is absolutly terrible I tell you! It seriously breaks my heart lol but its so addictive. Gosh I hate shows like that. But there the best you know!

day 13

Hey! Just got home alittle bit ago. Today i woke up around 10 and we played cards and stuff. Sofia and I rode bikes on these little trails that go through the woods by the ocean and stuff. It was fun but I was a little nervous at first. There are a lot of people walking onthe trails and other bikers and hikers and little babies and Im pretty clumsy on my feet so on two wheels to a bike thats to big for me... Im like a death trap. lol I fell over two times. The first time I was stopping and the second time I was walking the thing back wards. Ugh!
Anyways so we went to the pretty beach and it was really... pretty! The ocean floor was all rippley from the waves and it felt really neat on the bottom of my feet. hahaha! I know thats a wierd thing to write on the blog but it was like the best part of the adventure.
So we rode back and i got on here and tried tosend dad an ecard but it didnt work so my blog thing is going to have to be sufficient! Happy fathers day again :) and then we left again and went to Max and the supermarket. Max is a fastfood restaurant that puts mayonaisse on there cheeseburgers and I mean it wasnt bad... but it had mayo on it.... lol If it didnt have the mayo it woulda been great!
Then we came home and played more cards and then Isabell and Caroline came over and then we all left and took the bus to amandas house! And this my ...family... is where the fun begins!
We took the bus to amandas and then we started our cookout! lol We cooked hotdogs and vegetarian hotdogs, and these little pork things... and honestly none of it was really cooked well except the little pork things and thats because Caroline did it. lol It was good lol but the hotdogs had like random little burnt spots :) it was a true teenage girl camp out! Isabells two sisters were there too and they look EXACTLY like isabell. Its like seeing triplets of something! Its awesome lol! You will see inthe pictures I post on facebook on tuesday.
We ate alot of food and then we adventurized down to the beach that was voted the most beautiful in all of sweden! lol and it really was beautiful! Its by the biggest hotel in halmstad lol and and this hotel was so strange. It was pretty dont get me wrong lol but there was dancing lessons at this hotel and a randomly placed naked lady poster on one of the windows lol. This is where the prom is held!
We took alot ofpictures down at the beach and then we walked back to amandas house but caroline had to leave so we waited with her for her bus and then we went back to amandas and she pulled out this huge bucket of bathing suits and we all grabbed one and jumped into there pool and swam and jumped some more. lol dont worry mom its inground and like 6 or 7 ft deep. And then when we got cold we went and sat in the sauna and got really hot and then we jumped back in the pool and repeated this procedure. lol and then we got dry and changed and watched Maid of Honor and then Amandas parents came out with an ice cream cake for sofia and they sang (because i dont know the swedish happy birthday) and then we ate and talked and laughed and watched and then Amandas dad came in and took us home because it was almost 1 am and now we are here and I am typing and what a fun day! It was very teenagerish. lol tomarrow they are coming over and mamma is making food and we are having a little party here for sof. I couldnt get her anything since she is always with me but i am going to try to help helena make a candy cake. lol whatever that is!
We are going home on Tuesday so I will call you guys and Lyn then. And I am very tired and Sofia keeps making tsssking noises which means ' ugh sheila I cant believe you are o nthe internet this late dont you think its time to get off. I am tired and cant sleep until i can turn the light out and for some ungodly reason i cant turn the light out until the computer is finished humming. ' lol Peace!

Day 12

Well! I woke up this morning with those flower still tucked under my pillow... lol I'll talk about that later! Anyways, today we went to visit the fam and have a midsummer family get together! And man! They had the best food I have ever eaten I think! lol There was this stuff that tasted alot like steak and it had these little green things on it... some sort of spice? and this potato thing with leaves and asparagus and a bunch of other random vegies... That was good too. You know I have found that as long as I dont think about what I am eating it all turns out pretty good. Unless its fishy stuff or like mushrooms or something. Sofias family is really nice! This one guy I think it might have been an uncle? He came up and started talking to me about how a buddy of his lives in Florida and has a summer home in Sweden and brought an american friend here and he had just gotten done talking to that America like 20 minutes before he met me. I didnt realize so many Americans came to sweden! That would awesome to have a summer home in sweden. I mean... can you even imagine that? Coming here every summer... I cant imagine that it would be AWESOME! not that American summers aren't good but I mean here they have like midsummers and oceans and people everywhere wearing flowers in there hair.... Sighhh! lol Dont worry lol I am going to come home in 18 days... not that I am counting or anything :) Mom you need to get on facebook. Anyways, Tomarrow we are cooking out onthe beach with Amanda, Isabell, and Caroline. That outta be fun :) I will take abuncha pics! I finally got some more batteries! Welp I am out! Love youu!

Day 10 and 11

Since I missed a day.. woops!
OH MY GOODNESS! okay so we started off the day by going on a bike ride! well, kind of... we were going to ride bicycles but then I got on it and the seat was WAY to high and so lol...
okay swedish bikes they are strange because the seat of the bike is the same heighth as the handle bars and they have baskets onthe front of them ohh.. and they have these little seats on the back ... and i rode on the little seat. It was the scariest thing I have ever done in my life and i was screaming the entire time! Now I have these two big bruises on the inside of both of my legs! Its sad :( lol and it hurts! We went all the way to these other beaches and walked the trails.. most of then time I walked until we got on the pavement and then I rode with sofia ... and it really was only terrible at the beginning because we could never seem to balance.
For dinner we had these tortilla things. I had mine with chicken, lettuce,cucumbers, and corn. Lol it might sound discusting but it is really really good! After dinner we ran down to the ocean and sofia refused to get in and it was sad. I was pumped for some salt water and sand but noooo. lol so we adventured back here and watch Pride and Prejudice, ate some ice cream, and read our books till we fell asleep. It was quite a good day!
Day 11
Thats today! HAPPY MIDSUMMERS EVE! lol it was a wonderful day! I woke up at 11 and we went to McDonalds because Helena wanted us to visit her! lol Yes I ate American food for lunch :) and then we got ice cream lol and I got this meringue mcflurry thing. Do they have those in US? it was amazing! It was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and these little white puffs that looked like marshmellows but tasted like the pastel wedding mints... minus the minty taste. They like melted on your tongue! It was cool :) Anyways we walked around a bit and then Brigitta, I'm gonna call her Mamma. Thats prenounced Mah-mah not to be mixed up with momma, which is you mom. lol Anyways. Mamma got a big slew of flowers and we came back home and made our crowns! It was really hard lol we had to like arrange the flowers and then make them stay connected to this leaf thing. I am bringing mine home and keeping it forever lol. We wore them all day long! Anyways then I showered and we ate dinner-swedish meatballs, potatoes, salad, and hard bread stuff. Pretty good:) Helena asked me a really hard question about what my favorite swedish meal we had eaten was and I couldnt answer lol... I havent not liked anything except the noodley thing that came with the pizza..So i couldnt answer her question! lol. After dinner Amanda came over and we went out adventurizing! lol It was the funnest time I have ever had ...ever! We were going to meet her at the bus stop but then she met us before we ever got out of Strandhaga, so we decided to walk around. So we walked and walked and walked and decided to check out the other old people communities may pole. And lol big surprise... it was the same as the one in our old people community :0 lol. So then somehow ... I dont know how... but we decided that we wanted to go to the beach and swim! But see Amanda didnt have a swim suit and we were far from home... and its not as if anyone was actually on the beach so found a deserted area of beach and jumped in the ocean in our bra and underwear. lol it was the funniest thing in the entire world! lol and was freezing... verry verrrrry cold. Amanda wore a white dress, and sofia wore a white skirt and i wore jean shorts, so when we put our clothes back on we were soaked... and its not like we had towels ughh it was terrible but really fun. When we started walking back home it ended up raining, and then it switched to pouring so since we were already soaked we ended up just dancing in the rain at the little party thing that was going on by the may pole. And gosh it was just so fun :) When we came back home we dried off and got warm and amanda, sofia, and i rode bikes down to the gas station and got some snacks and when we got back home the three of us and helena played Go Fish and ate our snacks and then Amanda taught sofia and I this game called sevens and I cant wait to show you guys! It was really fun and its about one of the only card games I know beside old maid,slap jack, speed,war, and Go fish! Anyways we played cards until Amanda had to leave and then we walked her up to the bus stop and sofia and I went out and gathered flowers. You see, ever midsummers eve they go out and pick 7 different wildflowers and then before they go to bed the put them under there pillows and supposedly your suppose to dream about your dream man. I am pretty excited to see who that is going to be! mwahaha. It was really fun trying to find the flowers because we went out in the neighborhood with a pair of scissors and walked around cutting little baby flowers from peoples yard. I know it sounds terrible and I would never do it in america... but in sweden it is accepted and I need 7 different flowers! :) Anyways so then we got back home and Helena needed flowers so we just found a bunch here in the yard :) I better dream about this dream guy... like seriously because if I dont I shall curse sweden and its traditions! lol just joking :) Today was a super great day, but dont worry I am missing America and you guys! And I am really going to be missing America on the 4th of July. Midsummers is kind of like the 4th of July... in a way. Its like there major Swedish holiday and 4th of july is obviously Americas major holiday. There just isn't any fireworks. Lots of people cook out and there are tons of drunk people, hence the reason we didnt go to the city.
lol Anyways tomorrow sof and I and I think Helena are getting up early and going on a bike ride and them going to Gothenburg and visiting cousins? I think! We were suppose to go to Amanda's house and we were all suppose to campout but I think her parents said we weren't allowed. Sunday though I think we are cooking out on the beach with Isabell, Caroline, and Amanda. I am really looking forward to it! Sofias birthday is on monday and I think we are staying home and having a dinner with everyone! and Sometime next week sof, helena, and I are going to Liseberg. That is where the big huge amusement park is located with the rollercoaster that goes upside down and this thing kind of like the double shot at indiana beach but is bigger and I have heard... better! lol
Thank you parents for letting me come on this trip! It has been the adventure of a life time and I have made so many new friends and learned a lot of things as well! Sweden is so different from America but kind of the same too. It is strange being in a place where everyone speaks a different language but it is an amazing thing to. When your in america everyone pretty much speaks the same thing and its very rare you here someone speaking a language that sounds more thing they are singing that actually talking. lol Its really neat :)
I guess I better get off soon, Sof just shut the light off.. I think thats a subtle way of telling me 'its time!'

Day 9

i cant beleive I have been here for 9 days.. It feels like around a week and 2 if i might say so myself. Today sof and i drug ourselves out of our beds went shopping at h&m and a bunch of other stores.. I only bought a shirt i might add.. it was on sale very cute too! we went to the library too! I have probably said this before but seriously! The library is so big and pretty with all of its glass windows and stuff! There are tons of books (but a small english section) It is so big there is even a cafeteria in there. lol and yo ucheck yourself out! yeah you stick your card inthis little card thing and then scan the books and get a reciept and if you dont do it right then the doors beep like if you steal something from a store. they are very technological here. Then we went to Lidl and got some food and came back here where we hung out for about an hour and then went down to swim. We were going to swim in the pool but it was really crowded so instead we went to the ocean and it was the warmest ocean i have ever been in! We counted about 15 jelly fish and 2 crabs on the shore lol but we didnt see any while we were swimming. Jelly fish here are alot different than they are in gulf shores.. There more i dont know .. jelly? lol less see through more jelly. Yes that is how to explain them! Then we came back and i got on here while sof showered and then I went for a jog. Yes Sheila Marie Prather went for a jog. crazy ay. Yeah i ran down to the beach and back and then i showered and we ate pizza and drank soda (thats what they call it here) and we watched roswell. Yeah more roswell. We finished season one. Thats like 22 episodes...40 minutes each... in four days. Thats like 880 minutes of movie in 4 stinkin days.. oh yeah and we started season 2. Now i know what it sounds like.. Its sounds like all i do here... in this wonderful foriegn world is watch tv for hours and hours but its not true! no matter how it sounds lol. We do fun exciting things during the day but at night we watch tv. lol Tomorrow we are going bicycle riding and ocean swimming! It will be fun. I just hope that the bicycles have nice inflated tires lol.

Day 8

Hey there! Today was a pretty boring day lol. But dinner was really good lol. Sofia had a dentist appointment today so when she got home she made me get up. I was supposed to call you guys before i left for the cabin, but I forgot too. Woops! As soon as I got up I started packing. We are gonna be here for like a week so my entire wardrobe was packed into my bag lol.
Anyways- we left soon after I finished and Sofia and I have been watching Roswell ever since .. hahhaahaha! lol we watched like 8 episodes or something today alone. yes yes .. pretty boring day lol.
We did run to Lidl before dinner its the supermarket right across the street and tomarrow we are shopping and swimming so that will be fun! I shall try not to spend much money but I really want a swedish tshirt lol I will save it for when we go to the sportsy store... I know exactly what I want!
The baby is sooo adorable! Seriously lol I stared at her for like 5 minutes. I think she has my lips lol in the picture I mean..I wonder if that means she can make 'the face' ! You know 'the face' thats all like dads lol! Someone needs to get to uploading some more because I am getting a little antsy. I want to see some more pics of this little maciejewski! So get to uploading! Comeon!
This weekend is Midsummers. Sofias mom says we have to stay home on friday .. which is midsummers eve. Midsummers eve is kind of like the night before Halloween where everyone goes out and gets in big trouble and stuff so we are probably just going to swim and stuff. On saturday I think we are going to hang out here for most of the day and go to Amandas house for a picnic on the beach! That should be fun!
Which reminds me! Tomorrow I will take pictures of the ocean and stuff but I accidently left sofias camera cord at the house so I dont know when Im going to get the chance to upload them to here. Probably like Tuesday or something. I dont know

Day 7

Hey!! Not a very festive day today! I got up at 11.. woah! lol and then showered and we went shopping! That was pretty fun. There is this store about 45 minutes away and its like a HUGE walmart. lol everything is kind of cheap... i mean cheap for them not so much for me. I cashed a few of my cheques today. The American Economy sucks... just so you all know that. lol I am suppose to get 1500 kr for 150 dollars but instead I only get about 1070 kr. Pretty dumb if you ask me.
After we went shopping we went to visit sofias grandpa. He was really nice except that he didn't speak one word of english except for Smallville, Clark Kent, and byebye. lol he says that English is a very wierd languauge :) How funny is that lol.
For dinner we had mashed potatos and this wierd meat stuff. It tasted a lot like the stuff we have with sour kraut. The sausage stuff... I don't know. It was good though. They cooked it with ketchup over the top of it.
Tomorrow we are going to the cabin again. This time we are staying from tomarrow till about tuesday. I dont know if we are come back home at all but if we do I will call you guys. I will also call before I leave tomarrow although it may be super early!Be ready! mwahaha lol.
I will be sure to take a ton of pics this week while we are away. The ocean is right there and also the big Midsummers thing is happening.
Sofia's birthday is on the 22 so i think we are going to be celebrating that as well. Fun Fun Fun! lol I will post more tomarrow night! Love-

Day 6

Hey!Today I broke the record... instead of waking up at 12:30...I woke up at 1:30! Sofia and I came back to Hyltebruk around 2 ish and then I called the fam... well I guess you guys lol! I am very happy about that little baby that was born!
For dinner we had spaghetti but instead of normal like spaghetti sauce we had this meat sauce stuff and it was pretty good... minus the meat of course. At around 8 sof and I made swedish chocalote balls and watched Roswell! She has all the seasons and our goal is to watch all 60 episodes before I go home! lol It will be fun :)
I made mom a facebook today :) hahha and I uploaded a bunch of pictures to mine. Tomarrow I will call you guys and I will try sisters cellular again :) ughh somebody take her laptop to the hospital I want to see some pics! Love me

Day 5

I have become addicted to a candy. I will bring some home lol! Today was an awesome day! It was rainy again this morning and i had toast for breakfast. I dont usually eat breakfast but they make me. It's not a bad thing lol anyways sof and I went for a swim and then sun came out! It was beautiful! When I saw the sun I was so excited because when it is sunny here things look so much different! The world actually looks round. In indiana it is flat but here you can see the circle and the clouds move fast and the birds look so wierd lol... Its like seeing the world ina different light.
After swimming inthe beautiful sunshineyness we headed back here and took showers and then we went out into town and sofia started her driving lessons. We went to the hospital parking lot I think because if she hit someone then they would be able to get help faster :) Things are different here when it comes to driving. Most people drive with a stick shift and the people that don't get a seperate licence. If you drive with an automatic car you get one liscence but if you drive stick shift then they give you a different one to show that yo ucan drive either type of car. It is really strange. Helena says they are really hard here. The driving tests I mean. And people here drive so fast! The normal speed that I see everywhere is 70 and they have these wierd little circle things you have to go around. I think u turns are legal lol and people walk everywhere!!!
When we got back we hung out for a while and then once amanda got here helena drove us to the centrum where we walked to the Chinese restaurant. It was actually not that bad. I had chicken and vegetables and of course rice. We met Caroline and Isabell there and we all ate together and stuff. We decided that next weekend we are going to camp out at Amandas house after al lthe midsummers festivities lol. I am really excited because they usually dont cam p out alot! Isn't that strange!
Anyways I just got home. Sofia amanda and I took the bus back here and it costed 50 Kr. thats like 7 dollars or something. During the day it only costed 14 Kr. It is crazy :( I am already on my second travelor check and i have barely bought anything. Just my post cards and we ate out two times. Gosh its expensive here and forex isnt open tomarrow so that means we cant really do anything tomarrow :(. It's okay though because we are just going back to hyltebruk and we shall hang out and wash clothes and make swedish balls and watch a movie or something!
Tomarrow I will upload pictures and i think Helena will teach me how to make my blog pretty after she gets off work.

Day 4

I wasn't able to get online last night so i will write about last night today and today tonight. lol :) Yesterday sof and I woke up at around 1230ish and we ate our breakfast. Breakfast is a very important meal in sweden and even if you wake up at 1230 you must eat it! Then mamma came home and we went to the mall and shopped. I found postcards that i will send sometime and stamps too. ohh and I ate real swedish chocalote balls! lol its pretty much a big ball of chocolate that was rolled in coconut shavings. They are really big. Sofia tried to make them at one of the campouts we had at lyns but they tasted different than these. Sunday when we get back home we are going to make the home made chocolate balls! woo hoo!
After we went shopping we came back to the cabin and walked down to the ocean!IT WAS FREEZING and very salty! lol we got in, went under, jumped out and ran to the pool. the heated pool. It was pretty much empty since it was all rainy out. Anyways we swam till about 6 and then we came home and showered and stuff. For dinner we had hamburgers which are really really really good! I had mine with lettuce and ketchup and it was on sesame bun and it was amazing lol. I really like this swedish food stuff.
During dinner sofias friend Amanda came over. She is really really nice and speaks super good english! Everytime sofia and her would talk swedish to each other i, the confused american, would be looking well confused... so amanda we stop and explain what they were saying. It was really nice. Anyways at around 830 we left and went to the store and got a ton of candy and a 2 liter of coke and then we went to the movies and watched 17 again. The swedish movie popcorn is really good lol.OMG! AT THE MOVIES YOU DONT HAVE TO SMUGGLE IN FOOD. During the movie I went for a piece of candy and the entire bag full of candy fell all over the floor :( my bad. That bag was like 6 dollars american money... it was the kind you pickout and weigh.
After the movie Helena agreed totake Amanda home so we headed to the super rich community part of sweden. Amanda showed us around the house and it was the most beautiful house I have ever seen! There are big pretty pictures everywhere and the staircase is really pretty and the pool is inground and it was really pretty. lol
today (which is technically yesterday) is (was) a really great day. and Tomarrow ( which is today) I get to meet Caroline. I really like sofs friends lol they are all english talking nice swedish people!

Day 3

Today was so fun! We left sofs house at around 12 ish and Brigitta drove us up here to the cabin. Its so cute! The door is awesome! Its like what you see in like way old movies. Its the type where the top and bottom are seperated and you can open the top part or you can open the bottom and if you open the bottom then yo ucan crawl under the top... and being foreign makes me sound dumb and crazy but thats because everything here is so ooo o o o oo cool!
Sofias mom dropped us off in the centrum thing which is translated as the center of the city. It has all the shops and restuarants and tons of people! Mostly blonds and pretty clothes lol. And I got to met sofia's friend isabell! She is sooo nice but she like refuses to speak english to me so sof traslates for me. She will get more use to speaking english the more she is around me. I have noticed that swedish people speak good english but they dont think they do. I understand them perfectly.. most of the time lol sometimes I have tosay what... but I understand them well. Anyways! we went to the Forex and i cashed my travelers cheques. OMG I am losing my money here! seriously! I gave a check that was worth 50 bucks and i got 350 crowns and thats like 150 crowns off since the american economy sucks and I am mad! After we went to forex I got to ride the bus for the first time! Its really neat lol just like in the movies! You get on and give the guy the money ususally 20 crowns and then he givesyou some little coins back and then you go sit and you have to remember to push a button and then it stops andyou get out and its neat! Alot of people ride those buses!
We got off where the cabin is and me and isabell and sofia walked down to the ocean and it was really rainy today so we didnt get in but there is a light house like right there in front of my face when I look out over the water and I have to get a picture of that before I get home for gramma.
So then brigitta took us to the big super market and we got a huge bag of candy because we thought we would be going to the movies later but then we couldnt so she dropped us off in the centrum again and we walked around and went in to H&M. I found a bathing suit for 4 dollars each piece and we are going back sometime soon. There were dresses for cheap, shoes and pants were like 7 dollars. Its like a better version of walmart but mostly all clothing! I put my clothes away in my closet and I noticed that I really did pack super light. I had to raid sofias closet for a shirt this morning... I cant wait to spend my mula. .. sorry mom and dad!
After going into stores and stuff we decided it was time to get some food. We went to this restaurant called Cleopatras. It was a little pizza parlor and I got a margarita... hahhhaa not the drink! Its a cheese pizza! We had originally planned to go to the movies and see the hang over, but there wasnt a bus that we could have got on so tomorrow night Helena is going with us and we are taking her car. Anyways instead of the movies sofia and isabell showed me the library and we walked around a ton. Then sof and I took the bus to strandhaga which is where the cabin is and we watched movies and ate candy and played on youtube and now here we are! lol!
I am so glad I am here. Its the coolest place ever and I miss you mom and dad and sissy and jackson and michael and little baby emma who is coming very soon and smittie and emma and the extended family as well. hahha
Today was a big day and tomorrow will be a big day as well. I believe tomarrow we will be going swimming inthe pool and then going to the movies with helena. fun fun!

Today has been a very non productive day! Sofia brought Moses and Malta in to wake me up at around 3pm and then i showered and layed on the couch and watched Stay Alive. Very good movie I might add... well the half that I saw... Sof we need to finish that one!
We ran to the super market and got some ice cream and some strawberry juice stuff and came back and had dinner! we had swedish meat balls and potatoes! and Holy cow! I like Swedish Meat balls! and chocolate Mousse! and strawberries! and gummy sour sweet candy things. lol Lyn was wrong when she said that I was going to starve to death while Iwas here. I so am not! They have tasty food!
Tomorrow Sofia and I are going to take the bus I think. We are going to go stay at the cabin until sunday or monday and we are going to the movies tomarrow! I am quite excited because the cabin is right by the pool and the ocean. Sofia asked me which i would rather swim in and I almost laughed. Of course my answer was the ocean! My dad was like the ocean... arent there sharks and jelly fish?!
I called and talked to my mom and dad today. My mom was at work and my dad was home with Jackson. Evidently my sister is in at the hospital again. The baby isnt even due until July 4 and it shouldnt pop out until June 17... its on the 10th! I should have said June 13. That will be the day!
Good News! Jackson still remembers me and he isnt mad at me. He said he loves me and everything. He kept asking me is I was with sofia on the plane...I think he still thinks Im on the plane lol. Sweet baby jack!
Today was rainy and sofs dad says that the weather will be better on friday so thats good! I am going to go find a snack :) Love Sheila

Wow!

So here I am... In sweden! It is crazy to thing about! I felt like I was in a daze until I stepped off the airplane in Gothemburg and met Sofia's mom and sister!
On Monday my parents took me to the Fort Wayne Air port and sent me off at around 1! It was pretty sad I must say. I wont see them for an entire month... I have never been away for that long! My plane ride to detroit was a little over 30 minutes and it was on a little jet thing. My first travel buddy was a 41 year old woman who looked about 20 whose parents use to live in Kokomo and she was on her way back to Orlando from visiting family. I have noticed that traveling persons often tell there life story to there traveling buddy. It could be just to lighten the mood... who really knows! Anyways when i got off the plane in Detroit, I felt really smart. I got to my next gate all by myself and it was a big airport with many people. I had to go from gates E all the way to gate c for amsterdam. My next plane buddy was named Rebecca who was going on a missions trip to work with a church in Stockholm and who was coming to Gothemburg to teach a vbs class on june 12. She knew alot about sweden I dont know how! She like read up alot on it and informed me about a lot of different things. She was really nice!
When I got to Amsterdam it was like 8:30 am and I was pretty tired. They fed me though :) and I had to go through this strange passport metal check thingy to get to gate B... when I got to Gothemburg I somehow was smart enough to get my luggage, take the right way out of that little lobby thing and was greeted by helena and Brigitta.
I thought it would be a little wierd meeting them without sofia here but it wasnt really at all. I like them all alot and they make me feel like I belong here which is a pretty big deal since well... Im from America and im in Sweden! We went to the grocery store the post office and the bank and I have already tried Turkish delights, swedish pizza, this wierd noodley things covered in dressing stuff, and kabob? oooh! and these one little pomegranate candys thing. those are tasty!
OMG! I forgot! I met the dogs! they are white golden retrievers... hehahhe white and golden... but more white :) There is Moses and Malta and they look identical except there noses :) They are sweet and for some reason I am almost okay with being covered in there white furry hairy ness!
I am still shocked to be here. It is beautiful and pretty and I absolutly love it. This will probably be the best month of my life no lies! I am so stoked to be here! I better get to bed its 23:56 and I have to call the rents! Talk tomarrow :) Love Sheilaa
